MAY Mental Health Month

There are many things happening in our world, but we have Mental Health Month to support us through the chaos. Madness exists in many areas of life and in our communities. The great thing is that we have Christ in the chaos and each other for support. We don't have to sit in the darkness alone or hide out of shame. There are safe places for you to belong and to share your vulnerabilities. You are not alone in your situation; many can relate and are facing similar challenges.

With May being Mental Health Month, it is important to be aware that resources and support are available to anyone in need. This is a perfect opportunity to seek mental health support during these challenging times, especially after the last few months, where many things have triggered anxieties.

We are in a battle—physical, spiritual, emotional, mental…in every way. We must equip ourselves and be proactive, rather than reactive, to what comes our way. We do this by being open and implementing a plan. This plan should involve God, our families, and our spiritual and physical communities.
